I have an idea I'd like to try right now I have my 2 middle tunze on perm opposite 0% wave reduction, right angle wave so they alternate. They only at 35% power because they go towards front glass slightly angled up and towards corners. I added them for extra movement for acros. They been on constantly from 10am to 930pm. They turn off for night at 930pm to 10am. But I'd love for them to be off more and maybe go on a hour at a time time. Then off for a hour or 2 then back on. Is there any way to have these 2 pumps go their settings I have set but on let's say 12pm to 1pm and on again at like 3pm to 4pm and 6to7pm?

Are your pumps plugged into your Powerbar? If so.. I use a timer to run my skimmer on and off at different parts of the day. First I set a timer in processes and then assigned the timer to the outlet and then the pump turns on at that time.. does that help?

I thought about that. And I may try that. That being said all 4 tunze 6095s are on same outlet. So I'd have to move the 2 middles ones over to their own outlet. @Be102
Someone else may be able to help with another setup... that’s the way I know how to do it lol maybe @Ditto or @Lasse can be of more help

Well for now I just used the night time setting and have them turning on at 2pm and 6pm. Rest of the time they are off. So I'll do this for now. And if the 20 min on then off for a hour or 2 and then 20 min on will be better. Especially for future acros. I'll have to figure out a solution. Probably outlet like you mentioned

You must have two different sockets - 1 for the two running intermittent and one for the two running continuously. You can - as @Be102 suggest use a normal timer - or you can use a cyclic timer if you want more than 8 events a day. I order to run 20 min each 2 hours:
Create a timer, cyclic - off - 6000 sec - on 1200 sec
Create your stream group that you want to run.
Connect the timer to the socket, And the pumps to the socket

If you want it shout down totally during night - use the night function in the stream-group and create a PL function for the socket -> Timer x AND Stream Group Y. Connect this PL to the socket. I haven't test that - but I think it can work, If not - just use another timer

Sincerely Lasse

Does this cyclic mode mean it will stay off for 30 min - 2hours I guess its random everytime but within that time frame. And then the tunze will kick on for 30s to 10min. Again random whatever the computer wants?

No I like the change. Makes it more random. Now how would I set this to outlet say #3. I can set the outlet to timer 2. Then since my powerheads are attached to it the group settings. If this turns on during the night since I have the night time mode set to 0% they wont turn on right?

Im.assuming since Stream group with pump 3.+4 night mode is set to 0% at 930pm to 900am. If outlet is on timer and is off it's off but if it kicks on during those hours. The stream group settings are live and if its during night mode time. The pumps just stay 0% correct?

Yes - forget what i wrote about the PL. It is enough that you have the timer for the outlet. The night mode in the stream group will be 0 (if you have programming it that way) even if the outlet is on

Sweet I did this today and it came on now I'll check tonight to make sure night mode is working. Now my hammer and frogspawn and relax and stop receding from getting beat by current. Poor guys. I bet that's what is causing to receed from edge of skeleton. Now little.burst of current to cause a stir and help make acro happy.
