Added some galaxaura clumps to the IM 30L.

Here are some random macro shots from this tank.

Love this leptogorgia virgulata. I think I will be adding more NPS to this tank. I think NPS seem like a good pairing with macroalgae.

The blades on this caulerpa ashmeadii are up to 12" long!

I have 7 sexy shrimp in this tank at the moment.

Galaxaura sp.

Also found 3 molly fry! The number of times I've had to fish them out of the filter chamber is way too high.

Will close with some dragon's breath under blues.

Looks great as usual. I cannot wait until my new display sump fills out. Looks kind of skinny right now lol.

OK. I've been crazy busy with work these days, so haven't given them as much TLC as usual.

I'll post up a proper update with shots soon. :)

Some recent shots from the mangrove beach lagoon.

Had some issues with this tank recently after I had a power outage. Cascading deaths basically and I was doing tons of big water changes trying to do damage control. I unfortunately lost my scallops and some feather dusters during this time. Things seem to have stablized now, but haven't done much to it since.

Beautiful tanks! Sorry you had those losses, but your tanks are amazing nonetheless.

Added a bunch of NPS/leptogorgia to this tank. Haven't kept much by way of NPS previously, so still getting used to feeding them daily.

Looking good. How are the macros responding to the reef breeders? Been thinking of getting some for my 7’ macro tank, but it will require quite a few to cover it, so not sure if I want to dump that much yet lol.

Overall, I really like these lights. I did have some botryocladia not take to it (maybe too bright), but I like how customizable the lighting is. It's hard to keep all the macroalgae happy in general though when you have a bunch of different types with different lighting needs under one light.

Thanks for the feedback.

I get the keeping them happy lol. Almost as bad, sometimes as bad, as keeping sps happy lol. just in different ways.

I still have an old v1 over my zoa/shroom tub and it is still kicking, so figured would look at them instead of kessils like I was planning.

I believe some kind of Euchema species, but it's already turning orange and I suspect may end up red. Sad.
So neat. I love how amorphous some of these algaes can be, from tank to tank they can vary so much in color and texture!

You mentioned in a post, perhaps it was on Instagram, that you added some NPS gorgonians. How is that going and how are you feeding them? I'm interested in trying some NPS...

I have like 5 different colors of Leptogorgia virgulata. They have all been doing well. I feed them daily a mix of Reef Nutrition Phyto Feast, Oyster Feast, Roti Feast and sometimes mix in Polyplab Reefroids from time to time. I think all the feeding has been really great for the macroalgae as well and I've been able to cut out my dosing of NeoPhos (phosphates) entirely with all the feeding I've been doing. I did have one photosynthetic gorg as well that didn't make it while I was battling dinos (ostreopsis) for the past 2 months.

I've been battling dinos (ostreposis) in ALL of my macroalgae tanks. It's been pretty annoying. I've just elevated nutrients, continuing to dose phyto, and running a UV sterilizer. But I have to rotate the UV among the tanks given how many macroalgae tanks I have running. Here's a recent photo of my beach lagoon right before it got hit with the current bout of dinos (3rd time dealing with dinos in this specific tank now).
