Hi,

Last weekend I made an initial hardscape in my 525XL.
I have tried to make hardscape in such a way the flow is able to go underneath the rockwork.
Also kept in mind the fish need a lot of possible hiding spots.

Personally i doubt the little bit of a flat table look in the middle of the tank, however it creates a lot of space for corals to grow.

If necessary i can upload a couple of more photo's later on, the depth of the hardscape is maybe a little bit hard to see in this picture?

Feel free to give your honest comments/tips, that's the best way to learn ;).

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

That's a great start, now be patience as the tank matures and then let the corals grow!

I recently have started liking nsa scapes, but as far as the classic stacking rocks I like the aquascape.
Your light mounting is interesting, I thought I was the only person who has used 2x4 mounts. I assume it’s temporary.

The light mounting is indeed temporary ;). Still waiting on my xr15’s. I started with liverock so I borrowed a temporary light from my lfs in the meantime.
