Hello everyone,

I don't know what is happening, but something is eating the Torch base. Any idea what can be doing this

honestly Ive has that happen because the base got crushed at some point and it just took time for it to fall apart. Ive never seen a fish or invert that eat the dead skeleton of a coral. The base is pretty much just a hard skeleton with no life in it so its not a disease if you ask me. It most likely got crushed when someone was gluing it to the rock. if your worried about it you can reinforce it with 2 part putty
