This could be a great power backup option for a power outage.

Yes that's awesome! Just not in stock anywhere.. But that's a good option. I wonder how it could be set up with a transfer switch so it automatically kicks in?

That is a good question. I know when you use this you have to physically push the power button.

It comes with (2) 6.0Ah Batteries.
For $2,100 it doesn’t come with it, you are paying for it, and 2 batteries aren’t going to last long. Those 6amp batteries are about $100 each.
Thanx for turning us on to this. Always good to learn about new stuff.
If/when I fun my generator I usually turn it off at night to be neighborly. This, or something at a better price point could fill that void. Already have a half dozen batteries

It does come with the 2 batteries. I'm getting one for work. I will test and let everybody know the results.

It would be ok short term but for longer power outages it wouldn't work. I will stick with gas
My thoughts, our power just went out last week Monday from 4am-6pm. Then again 9pm-3am. I had to get my butt to Lowe’s and purchase a generac gp6500.

They do sell extra batteries. MAP is about $599 per battery. On ebay they have brand new for $299.
Wow. Thought it ran on m18. Those fuel batteries are expensive.
Maybe running on m18 batteries in series a more marketable idea.

It’s loud, and does my whole house. In summer, on hot days the Ac makes it struggle. Can’t cool entire house at once. As a single cylinder engine long term use on electronics not ideal.
Good insurance

I'm currently running only (2) Maxspect Gyre XF280 to see how long it will run. The noise on the battery generator is the fans in it. Compared to a gas generator, a lot quieter. Plug on the side so you can recharge the batteries.
Batteries are removable of course.
