Carpenteri has to be IMO the nicer of the Mccoskeri vs Carpenteri;
My young male is in the background of this photo. Maybe I’ll get some flashing photos eventually.

Ha forgot which grail-like flasher we were talking about
Definitely, although Amanda is on the list to look out for for me. Piscilineatus probably won’t be an option for a long time

Well, they hit the tanks a few minutes ago… Isosceles went in and is still out happy in the nano. Attenuatus is in and hiding but also being chased somewhat by the finifenmaa every so often, and the Aquamarinus went in unaffected. If anything, he’s the one sat in displaying colours!

Well, @Slocke ive caught up with your wrasse numbers haha. I’m at 14 and waiting for a 15th.
Currently my most impressive has to be this boy (or well, he is until my Attenuatus displays).

I did see this cute little girl. Couldn’t leave her there, so I bought her and am taking her to my fathers tank haha

That transitioning diamond tail is stunning, and the isosceles is also gorgeous - We have very similar minds, I saw the baby isosceles and couldn’t leave him as they are adorable.

Good to know I’m not alone. Tiny little thing, and I couldn’t stand the thought of leaving it there.

You had a heck of a haul today! All beautiful fish. My old man loves aquamarinus and solarensis, they are his favorite. I’d like to get him one, but I’ve just had bad luck with them for some reason. And the ones at his house have always seemed prone to illness as well.

Very envious of your new additions!

I wish I got a better photo but he came out when my lights were swapping from blues to moonlight and I moved too fast and scared him unfortunately.

He is stunning though! And he’s small for his looks too, I thought he’d be max size but he’s maybe 3 inch without the tail.

I promise I only went with the intention of the diamond tail… I had about 50 fish I wanted to come back with - most of them being wrasses.
There was a nice Brunneus, Mccoskeri, Flavianalis, Rubeus, etc.

Good job!
I'm at 15 and I know I'm pretty much fully stocked but LFS told me he was getting the size of tusk I want in two weeks ago. I'm trying hard to resist going in because I know it will be hard to resist. I also have a half dozen fish saved in my wishlist on reef exclusive lol.

Wrasse I'm considering:
  • Pseudojuloides Kaleidos
  • Choerodon Fasciatus
  • Bodianus Anthioides
  • Macropharyngodon meleagris or negrosensis
  • Anampses neoguinaicus
  • Some Paracheilinus

Altogether I have;
2x Iridis
Chloropterus
2x Ataenia
Bipartitus
Margaritaceus
Aquamarinus
Finifenmaa
Flavidorsalis
Isosceles
Carpenteri
Attenuatus
Dimidatus

Once I get a Choati I’ll likely be done unfortunately (Until an upgrade atleast or once one of the Halichoeres go rogue).

Obviously you have forgotten my flasher wrasse ranking. I think rubricaudalis, flavianalis, and of course filamentosus would be my top.

He was flashing in the tank when the worker was trying to catch him and then he was flashing in the little container. He didn't like being in the bag. He was out a little yesterday but hanging out in the corner by the Fuge. Like my Foxface, he doesn't like me coming in the room so he runs and hides when I'm around.
