Pixel 6a with Orphek lenses (yellow and orange for the far away shots, plus macro lens for the close ups). Lot of waiting for the close ups.

Bonus as its cool if sad because these should not be sold as they are too difficult to keep: @ISpeakForTheSeas you may find these interesting.

Looks like you have a cool LFS. Where is it at?

Not to be weird, but I saw on your profile tab that you’re from the Atlanta area. I lived in Atlanta for a few years before moving back to FL full time in 2020. While I was there I used to go to a saltwater place in a warehouse very close to the Chamblee Marta station that always had a ton of tanks and good prices, and your photos reminded me of it. They had huge groupers that were in the giant sump pools and always had some uncommon creatures there.

The Fish Store. I live really close to that one but it’s really falling apart. I have never bought fish there except feeder fish. Not a pleasant place to go. Instead I drive 30 minutes up I-85 to Nemo Aquarium which is a massive but beautiful fish store with the best prices.
Here’s my last trip to the Fish Store
Went to the fish store I hate for feeder guppies and of course they were almost out.

Oh man, that’s a shame. I enjoyed going there every once in a while. I used to get off at Chamblee station and would sometimes stop by before going home. Bummer to hear it’s gone down hill.

I’ll have to check out Nemo Aquarium next time I’m town for work. Haven’t heard of it or been there yet!

It's a pacu so mostly herbivorous. This is one of the carnivorous species after getting in a kerfuffle with its friends

I got a wrasse today that I can’t identify. It was surrendered to my LFS. Under white lights it is pretty boring, a greenish brown with a hint of blue above the stripe. I don’t think it would be anybody’s choice for a fish and neither did my LFS. Anyway looking for possible ID.
Thanks in advance.

It looks like it could be a young Leptojulis cyanopleura. However it’s odd as it’s missing the top brown bar so possibly transitioning to an adult.

It could also be a species of Halichoeres however I’m not too sure which species it could be.

might also be this...
Brown-stripe wrasse
Halichoeres bicolor
I will have to wait to see if it colors up more once it settles in. So far completely oblivious to his/her tank mates. The green chromis (5) were afraid, territorial and aggressive at the same time. Swam right up to the breeding pair of clownfish cleared area and was "Hey, I like what you’ve done with the place." Hopefully I gave him/her a better place to live.
Thanks for your input.
More pics to follow.

Well now my rubeus seems to have injured its spine. Its severely S shaped and struggling to swim. Either that or UNWD. Either way the prognosis isn't good.

I'm very depressed about this, third attempt with a rubriventralis complex and looks like the same and/or related issue to kill all three.

Such a shame to hear, hopefully one day you’ll have a rubriventralis that won’t be put into this situation…

Easy challenge if you want it, try ID both fish I tried to photograph, the first is easy if you know my fish I just added to my 4’ tank.
