clownfish breeding rack set up.
I’m super stoked for this one!

Started doing research on building a rack of multiple tanks all tied into one system. Well now I have the rack x7 10g aqueon tanks and x2 20 gallon aqueon tanks.
I’m looking to replace the 20’s with x4 40g breeders later on.
I’m going to go to discount aquarium and get a big sump.
The top shelf will be for tools and things I will need. I will also close in the bottom sump area to make sure my son doesn’t get into it(10 month old and loves to open things up and drop things in).

First picture of the tanks and rack. Also let me know of any other cool things you would personally add if it were your set up! Honestly keeping things basic until I find what I like but love hearing about what you guys and gals do that makes reefing more fun and worth it.

Alrighty let’s get you all up to date!

planned the system a little more. I decided to get a 100 gallon trough from tractor supply store. Going to get x2 3k return pumps. Then plumb the 2 separate spray bars. Return system is going to be similar to the drain system with mainly soft plumbing so we don’t torque and brake the 10 gallon tanks. Seeing as they are also 1.5 in drains.

painted the tanks today!
Ordering my plumbing thru my LFS on Tuesday.

still gotta figure out what protein skimmer, reactor, ATO system and tank/bucket(idk yet) and air pump I will be running.
I will also need to go to lowes and have them cut some acrylic for the lids that way I can have everything covered so we have no jumpers.
Later probably going to install some T5’s and have baskets with nems in there but that can be like a year or two.
