TG Rainbow Goni Actually Bernardopora?

Anyone know whether the @Tidal Gardens Rainbow Goni is actually a Bernardopora? I’m seeing my little frag throwing out some sweepers which makes me think it might be a Bernardopora instead. Should I move it away from my other Gonioporas?
The sweepers were longer right before I took this pic but my Lawnmower Blenny swam over it because he wanted to get attention too.

No, it's not a Bernardpora. Bernardpora have different shaped polyps with radiating lines on them like this:

It is actually a Bernardpora. The hobby has long since named Bernardpora as Micro Goniopora due to their shorter sizes. Anything you find in the hobby as "Micro Goniopora" would be Bernardpora.

wow You just blew my mind, all the little goni's I've been collecting are actually something else.

It will be lousy weather this weekend so I look forward to reading and learning about this new coral.

It is actually a Bernardpora. The hobby has long since named Bernardpora as Micro Goniopora due to their shorter sizes. Anything you find in the hobby as "Micro Goniopora" would be Bernardpora.

From the images I have seen of Bernardpora in the wild, what we call "micro gonis" in the hobby are not actually Bernardpora, but small-polyped species of Goniopora, such as G. fruticosa, or G. minor (now pedunculata).
From what I have observed, Bernardpora come in 2 forms: a large-polyped green variety with radiating stripes on its polyps, and a small-polyped red variety with white polyps. Your Harlequin Goniopora looks to be the large-polyped green variety of Bernardpora.

That’s what I was thinking, any micro gonis I just assume are Bernardoporas these days. Thank you for confirming!!
Do you recommend moving it away from the Gonis then?

There is definitely a Reef Builders video on YouTube where Jake Adams talks about them. I don’t think @Tidal Gardens has made a specific video about them yet, but I 100% trust it if they say it’s Bernardopora.

Reef builders misidentifies corals a lot. Jake Adams misidentified "dragon soul Favia" as Coelastrea palauensis, when in reality, it actually is Dipsastraea rosaria, and Vincent Chalias misidentified Cycloseris explanulata as Pavona explanulata.
