What do you do with the temperature probe and calibration fluid temperature when calibrating the pH probe?

Bring calibration fluids up to tank temperature and leave temp probe in tank?

Both probes in calibration fluid?

Calibration fluid at room temp?

It doesn't really address the temperature of the calibration fluids or the position of the temp probe in the online manual.

TIA

As I know it - the pH probe does not temperature compensate with help of an external temperature probe - that compensation take place in an internal pathway. However - the calibration solutions is temperature depended. My solution for pH 7 is 7.01 at 25 degree C and 7.00 at 30 degree C ( 68 and 86 degree F) and my 10 pH solution is 10.01 at 25 degree C and 9.96 at 30 degree C. Its not a big different and I use 7 and 10 as calibration points. However - I use a floating device when I do the calibration. Fill up with 7 to the left and 10 (or 9) to the right. Let it float in the sump for around 20 minutes and calibrate after that. My sump temperature is between 25 and 27 degree C
