I don't feed my soft corals (zoas/ricordea shrooms) but was wondering about this recently when a filtration change sent my zoas downhill -- I think it's flow but others did posit potential for beneficial "stuff" being filtered out more aggressively.

Nitrates and phosphates are fine (8-10ppm, 0.06-0.08ppm, respectively) but I have no idea about other stuff like aminos, proteins, carbs, etc.

Anyway, that doesn't help but stuff I've considered trying other than ReefRoids for my situation:
