In january this year, my 15g tank suddenly sprung a leak. It was just a slow drip at that time, but the silicon seal was broken. Just a matter of time until it fails completely.
In the beginning i just wanted to get a spare one with the same size because i didn't want to get new equipment (my light is fixed to 60 cm), but after talking to a friend, we figured i could still increase the lenght and height. So the new size is now 60 cm x 35 cm x 40 cm. Around 84 l or 23 g.
I reused the life rock and sand. The sand was filtered and and flushed for 15 minutes with fresh water. These are the spaghetti worms i filtered out.
