I just measured mine at 72x30x24. That's overall glass measurement on the length and width, and upper and lower frames on the height. I was told it was 220g. Are you measuring yours different, or do one of us have a tank that's not 220g? Mine is all glass also, btw. I know one thing...people walk in the room and it really grabs attention when they see the size of them.

Length (in inches) x Width (front to back in inches) x Height (in inches) = # of cubic inches
# of cubic inches / 231 cubic inches per gallon = gallons
or

L x W x H (in feet) = # of cubic feet
cubic feet x 7.5 gallons per cubic feet = gallons

Most folks just use outside measurements, I think.

So, 72 x 24 x 28 = 48384
48384 / 231 = 209.45 gallons

or

6 x 2 x 2.333 = 27.996
27.996 x 7.5 = 209.97 gallons
