Hi - I have had a tailspot blenny that has a white patch on his head. I will take a better shot tomorrow but this should give you a good sense of its size. He’s eating well and behaving normally but not sure what a patch of this size would be. Thanks for the help!

This looks lie a gash and a result of an injury. Based on size and location, treatment is recommended in a separate tank using seachem Neoplex with added aeration with use of an airstone

Thanks - he’s been in an observation tank for a month and I went to catch him to move to the DT. I hadn’t noticed it before and makes sense it would be an injury (probably from hiding). Really appreciate the feedback.

@vetteguy53081 I have a wrasse that’s also been in the observation tank with the tailspot blenny for a month after QT with copper. Do I need to also put the wrasse in the hospital tank with the blenny or can I add him to my display. I have not had any issues other than this wound.

This is nothing that would be contagious and if the wrasse has complete QT, yes can go into display
