Hello all you R2R genius DIY'ers. I'd like a bit of experienced guidance on an acrylic roller mat I'm designing. It's a very simple manual roller that uses 4" rolls commonly available to me. All 1/4" acrylic with 1/2" or 3/4" PVC for the rollers, guides and handle.
Have a look and please offer any suggestion you think is worthwhile.
Specific questions:
Is the angle of the baffles important? I've seen from flat to a deep V.
Does water height affect performance? Are the baffles typically submerged?
Is the length of the baffles important? (How much of the roller material is exposed to flowing water).
How long does 50 micron material take to clog up? I'd prefer to only roll once a day or even better once every two or three days.
I'm thinking the inflow pipe from the display will run into a bulkhead on the lid of this roller and a PVC pipe will extend down between the rolls to just below water level?
