I'm having issues with this alage and identifying if it's an algae. I'm using an algae scrubber which is pulling out phosphate right now. The tank is several years old and is usually trouble free. The scrubber eliminated all the algae before and now I'm not sure if I'm over scrubbing. Sorry I forgot to turn off the blues but if you zoom in you'll see what I'm talking about.

Test results:

Spg 1.027

Temp 79 F

Nitrate 25 ppm

Calcium 400 ppm

Magnesium 1280 ppm

Phosphate 0.12 ppm

Dkh 7.7

Ph 8.3

Potassium 390 ppm

The brown slimy kind of chrysophytes I have been told are from when phosphates spike high. A guy got rid of his by reducing phos to .04 or lower and adding live rock from tampa bay reef rock. I tested my phos today and it was at .22. Way too high. Using gfo atm to reduce it and test daily til it's where i want it then go from there.
