Strange Stringy Pest (maybe?) on Acropora

Recently moved this mini colony to my new frag system. The flow is significantly more than in my display, but the rest of the parameters are pretty close.

It's been showing pretty good polyp extension at night (taken during moonlight period):

But, during the day, I'm seeing this:

Anybody know what these are? Really hoping it's not some sort of pest.

was moving around and I couldn’t make out what it was but 3 things will do this:
Spinoid worms
Vermetid snails
Tube worms

Spinoid and vermetid emit strings
