I have occasional need to hatch out artemia and my boys are currently going through a sea monkey phase. To ensure their success and to resupply my needs I splurged on a jar of decapsulated eggs (in saturated brine). It's necessary to keep them refrigerated, so they're in my 38 degree kegerator. The company says they'll keep for a couple of months, but I won't possibly use them all by then. I searched online and some companies sell frozen viable decap eggs, and I was wondering if the eggs in brine could be placed in the freezer for long term storage without perishing.

There has been some discussion on this on a few forums…having kept bbs for years I’m pretty sure dry eggs keep indefinitely in a freezer so long as condensation is checked… Not sure about “decaps” …I know they have a shorter life and thought they had a reduced hatch rate regardless … I listen in also
