Hey I’ve recently got a jbj 45 gallon cube. I have a pair of clowns and and small goby not sure what he is but it’s super small I am transferring that to the new tank. Some inverts I have are emeralds crabs an urchin and a fire shrimp. I am trying to figure out another or a couple cool fish I could add to the tank and not have any problems. Any ideas?

In my 45g

1x clown
1x Royal gramma
1x Diamond goby
1x Flame hawkfish.... forget it... may kill shrimp.
1x Silver bellly wrass
1x Tail spoted blenny
1x Tuxedo
Thank you! You have a cube 45 gallon? And the diamond gobby has enough sand area?

With cube tanks I always suggest people stock them like they are half the size they are by volume. That said one of my favorite tanks is a 60g 24” cube. With two clowns I would look at something like a few Pajama Cardinals, or anything else that is not an active swimmer.

I had a Diamond Goby in a 24” cube for over 7 years before he disappeared.

If that’s the case I would probably just get some kind of Blenny and call it a day.
Gotcha. Currently there’s a starry blenny in there but I plan to get rid of him. I wanted to replace him with a diamond goby

Personally I would do a Pistol Goby pairing. I’f I’m able to get a tank around your size that’s what I’m planning on :)

Or you could always get a smaller wrasse

Jealous of you tbh. (Landlord is strict on tanks)
