I have been trying to start a club for NC for a few days now. I have contacted some people and submitted a ticket but still to no responses. Would anyone else be interested or have any intel on this

Good luck. In the modern age, in person clubs just dont exist to the extent they did back in day.
It would be an online club with meetups to trade or something if necessary

Yes I know. But clubs are literally dead.

But good luck
Thank you! I am in a successful "rock pool club" or something like that. I would try to stride to get to that point

There is already CRC - Carolina Reefing Community, @Bleigh runs it, and it's filled with great people.
The Aquatics Expo is this weekend in Charlotte, CRC runs it.

I did a SEARCH on that club, it's not real active, you should email NC members regularly Once A Week to pick it up, and post anything like Things For Sale, show your tanks, information on algae, possible meeting together somewhere, not just a once a year Expo, try and go beyond that, and keep it interesting for all members, I am looking for a good NC club also.

I'm up here in extreme western NC so we are short on local resources in terms of LFS and such but recently our # of local reefers has been increasing so I'm hopefuly that this trend is across the state and not just "up here" in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

I'm interested to see if y'all and pull something together.

Who all is going to Aquatic Expo this weekend?

I'm good with a meet up but I won't be there long. Unfortunately I've got to get back to the Mountains to dig a trench and lay river rock down while the grader is at my house.

I'll PM you my contact info so you can hit me up.

Sadly I am in SC, and in the part that is rather far from NC. Still glad to see some interest in clubs again though! When I was a kid I always wanted to be in one, but when I got older they quit existing, SC has some decent FB groups at least though.

I am seeing a lot of interest in more "old-fashioned" stuff like this, especially among young people. Nice to see an interest in local social activities for the first time in my life time.

Does it cover both NC and SC? I was thinking this could be a northern north carolina based club

Do you think you could possibly send a ticket in about this NC club so we have more vocallity in this? If you can it would be much appreciated.
