The second is copper and salt water tanks don't mix.. you must find another method to heat your tanks or you will never be able to keep corals in this tank. Other than that you have done a fabulous job on the equipment and scaping of the rock and equipment setup. cant wait to see how it turns out.
his "heated water is running thru copper lines" the ones connected to that titanium coil. I dunno what else he could use to plumb this but I would definatly not use copper anything with a saltwater tank. Maybe he can source stainless lines and fittings for this? Can you please specify what thread # you referring to?

But the saltwater is never in contact with the copper tubes, do you suggest this is still an issue?
titanium coil lip is sitting on the lip of the sump and those copper pipes are far out side the sump and covered with clear coat of paint as well as rubber hoses that goes over the copper with zip ties to secure them.. I will post pictures this weekend..this is what I'm referring to..
Ahh i see i totally didnt understand the way this was plumbed, lol i thought it was heating the saltwater in your hot water heater, didnt realize it was heating just tap water.. i feel like a idiot now, lolcopper pipe is only 6 inches or less and rest of the plumbing is with pex and since saltwater is never in contact with copper I don't see any issue with this set up, I have been using titanium coils with same set up from a while and never had any issues...
