So, my 3’x16”xSPS tank is going to be uncommon to rare fish. Ideally I want in the future a maximum of 6-7 fish. Obviously these will all be small fish. So I don’t really want anything over 4 inches.
Currently I’m just in the phase of watching my current fish and just building coral/inverts.
Currently in the tank there are;
- Stonogobiops yasha
- Pseudocheilinops ataenia trio*
- Macropharyngodon bipartitus
- Gobiodon acicularis
- Ophioderma appressum*
- Lysmata debellius*
- Lysmata wurdemanni
- Alpheus randalli*
- Tridacna maxima*
- Tridacna deresa
- 6 Acropora sp.
- Stylophora sp.
- Seriatopora hystrix
- Montipora spoingodes
- Montipora digitata
- Ricordea florida & yuma
- Fymbriaphyllia ancora
In the 3 Lists above (Separated by Coral, Fish and Inverts), the * is what I plan to have in the longterm plan. Obviously this may change depending on what you guys think. my aim is to have multiples of each species and less species to mimic what you’d most likely see in a SPS reef. So far my thoughts on fish are;
- Wetmorella tanakai pair
- Macropharyngodon choati (?)
