Species Identification of Trade Names

As far as I know, there is no reference for linking trade names to species, i.e. what are the popular trade name varieties of A. nobilis? Or, what species is Pink Panther? I'd like to work on putting this list together. Please comment below if you know of a species ID associated with a certain trade named Acro.

I wish you luck! A fundamental problem is we often don't know what species we have and because many coral species will grow and look very different, both at the macro scale but also thier micromorphology, under different lighting and environmental variables. I suspect you'll need to teach yourself to be an expert taxonomist to be able to identify many of the corals we keep.
