soooo got my first porcelain crab,… rip

got a blue porcelain crab and it seemed to be doing well the first couple days then disappeared for two weeks (saw it alive this morning) come home from work and it’s dead?
stabile parameters and i feed live phyto daily (also) filter feeder food every other day
any ideas?

U sure he dead? That might be a molt u found. They will hide after molting

eyes were still black (usually) when my crabs/shrimp molt the spots where the eyes are become transparent ish and there wasn’t an opening on the other side of it
