Something red pops its head in and out of my elegance coral. It’s not burrowed in the skeleton but seem to had attached a flute like skeleton to its side

my Clown fish is now eating the elegance coral. It stays close to it as well. Very strange. Anyone else see this behavior
Clownfish will “eat” (more like taste) the flesh of their potential host to acclimate to the stinging cells. Normal behavior. They don’t actually devour the host tho. I wouldn’t worry.

I had two clowns host an elegance in an old tank. They’ll keep it well fed so this is good news on your case! Sounds like they will call it home in no time :)

Clownfish also clean their eggs with their mouths, and often will duplicate this behavior with whatever is hosting them... Nothing to worry about.

And the other thing is a red feather duster, likely the small ones related to spirorbids.
