I dont use razor blades because it's easy to cut silicone seams and scratch acrylic or even glass. You can buy the razor blade on a stick thing and scrape it off.
I scratched the crap out of my tank using a flipper. After using it just like I’ve used my mag float for years, without ever scratching it. I may have been doing something wrong but just a word of caution.Or a flipper brand magnetic cleaner which has a scraper blade built in that sticks out a couple of inches. I can get all the way down to the sand bed with it.
so i have a magnet cleaner that i clean my tank with and it can only get so far down on the glass before the sand gets in between the magnet and the glass. does anyone know how to get the algae off the bottom part of my glass?? anyone please
