Hi, I have this algae growing on my torch frag, but this algae is only on THAT frag, nothing else in the tank. Snails dont seem to clean it up. Not sure if it affects the coral or not. Any info will help, thanks.

You can take the coral out and put in container. Then scrub the algae off with tooth brush as best as you can without touching torches skin. Then you can drip some hydrogen peroxide on the area where the algae was without getting on the skin to make sure you got it. Let stay on for 15 to 30 seconds. Then rinse coral and put back in aquarium.
