Hi there,

Just wanted to be educated a bit more on my gonioporas.

I have one large colony and a small colony, whilst the small colony is mostly fully extended only some in the large colony are.

My question is, when they are fully extended is this indication of them being happy? Lack of light?

Just genuinely interested as i cannot seem to find information on this. I have attached a photo as well for reference. image.jpg

TIA!

Yes, thats fully extended, its happy.
Be careful though, those sweepers on it will kill other corals, and the sweepers will get worse.

This is my old goni I got rid of a few years ago. You can see the polyps with yellow center are exactly like yours.
