Just got in my 100mm macro lens ,so i was messing around with it. Here are some pics.

Yea try dropping your iso down to 100 in the av setting. Dont know if you used a tripod but you will need too for this low iso, and turn off the pumps. ny movement will cause it to be blurry, but if you dont get any movement you'll get some nice dof. :D

Cool ,thanks for the info. Ill trythat tomorrow when the MH gos on. These camera are worse then computer :D

Great looking pics with the new lens!! I noticed that you have a very narrow depth-of-field (DOF). This means that only a little bit is in focus and the closer and farther objects are not. This is contolled by the aperture.... the smaller the number the narrow the DOF.

A suggestion: If you are using a tripod, set your camera to the "A" setting or aperture priority setting, then change the aperture to f/16 or f/22. This will cause the shutter to be a lot slower, so you will want to use the timer function or a remote release to trip the shutter without shaking the camera.
