Although I haven't posted here a lot in the past, hopefully that will change as I get more and more zoas. About two weeks ago I was able to get some nice frags from someone taking down their tank (I also got a nice Acan frag). After letting them settle in the tank for a week and get fully acclimated, I decided it was time for my first excursion into super glue gel and the fun of gluing frags to rock. Needless to say it went great and I didn't have any problems. They have now been on their rocks for about a week and I have already seen some new buds starting on a couple of the frags.

The first pic is of the first zoas that I ever got about 1 1/2 months ago.

Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think of the new additions.

My First Zoas (About 1 1/2 months in my tank now)

I agree Azurel and I hope to keep getting frags here and there and then letting things try and grow out a bit.

Thanks for the compliment J. I jumped at the chance to buy that rock when I saw it at the LFS....especially considering it was $35 :)

Nice looking collection you got starting there.

Where in Charleston are you? I went to Summerville HS and had many a parties in downtown Charleston. Great clubs, the history, and the COC all mad eit very fun ;)

Peace, Bryan

ps- just remembered all the trips over the old rickety Cooper River bridge...I need to visit again and see the new one.

Wow...thanks for all the compliments and the warm welcome to the forum. I have definitely been admiring all of you all's collections and I'm glad that I have some of my own growing now.

I feel like I have definitely come to the right place and I'm glad that a board like this exists where people are able to come and post questions, get some quality advice, and share what each other has in their respective collections. Not that other boards don't offer that, it's just a little different here :).

Bryan, I went to Summerville HS as well (graduated 2001) and then went up to Univ. of South Carolina for school. I'm back here in Charleston now. I enjoy every minute living here again (gotta love Charleston). If you're ever back here, let me know and we'll meet up.
