Clarifying a few details for commonly asked questions, hope this helps!!

Many people have asked about the peninsula style, I just set the tank up against a wall like a traditional tank setup. Since it is peninsula style the tank can be 30” front to back AND still be flush against the wall. At the time I felt I was buying a forever tank and figured I would always live and work in Toledo, so I spared no expense and got the 3/4”, tempered low iron glass and the siphon stop and had it drilled for the synergy ghost (which I think is objectively the best overflow ever made, lol).

This brings me to the glass.
It is 3/4” on all panes, and all panes are tempered. The two long sides and the end pane are all low iron glass. The silicone is in excellent condition and I am not aware of any chips or scratches to the glass.

Am I firm on price?
In general, yes. To do the tank new would coat around $5400, so this is priced to move, but I am always willing to listen to offers including cash plus livestock offers. I would much prefer the tank go to a nice reefer than be wasted. I hope this line doesn’t violate the marketplace terms?


Why am I selling?
My wife and I basically got dream job offers out of town and closer to her family, so….. My loss can be someone else’s gain I guess!
