Novice here in need of direction...
I have been using Kalk for my make up water and have had good luck with the results except that it does drive my DKH up to about 11. In conjunction, I have been using sodium bisulfate in my water change water to lower the DKH level. My water changes are on a Neptune DOS at approximately 3 gallons per day. The tank volume is 175 gallons, including sump, and the addition of sodium bisulfate has given me the result of lowering my DKH to around 10, which I'm happy with but my question is, which I suspect is a dumb one, can the sodium bisulfate be mixed in with the kalk to lower the DKH without affecting the kalks ability to keep my PH stable at around 8.28 on average.
Thank for the help and any direction that can be given.
