Snails not moving

When we I put snails in my tank they sit where they are and hardly ever move. This has been happening for months now and even when I buy new snails they still never move or clean algae.

parameters are:
Alk: 8.5
Calcium: 420
Magnesium: 1200
Nitrate: 10
Phosphate: 0.04
Salinity: 1.025

Mexican Turbo snails. I drop pellets into the tank daily

Try some seaweed rubber-banded to a rock instead.

They also don't do great moving across sand, so either place them on the rocks or right up against the glass (suction side facing towards you).
