hi all, i am looking for suggestions for easy to handle, 1 gallon(ish) bottles/ containers to store some distilled water &/ or premixed salt water, so it’s ready to go when i need it, or if a tank sitter needs it… and before you suggest it, a brute can won’t do ;) hehe TIA! … i have some joint/ dexterity/ mobility issues- so better to mix & bottle when i am able & have it ready when needed:) thanks again!

I like the target brand distilled water bottles. They have a small handle around the mouth for easy pouring and the bottles are quite thick.
$1.00 AND you get a gallon of distilled water with it lol

Nice! Thanks for the lead! I haven’t tried the target ones yet- i keep getting the arrowhead distilled and those bottles make me a bit nervous about leaks, since they’re pretty thin… will check these out! … also found some glass/ chemical & distilled water containers on some science website for like $62/ bottle! Lol I’m assuming they’re made for labs or something haha

They make little 2g buckets or such with handles that are food safe.
Good to know thank you for the tip! I will do some googling and see what comes up. :) I kept searching for glass initially, which may have been my downfall - all kinds of kitchen storage stuff was coming up lol

Yep. Walmart brand but those bottles are scarily thin!
Oh shoot! I ordered some glass milk bottles from Amazon and when they came the insert also mentioned they were sold through Walmart- and they do seem “scarily thin”! >.< Glad I only ordered one to see how it was… thanks again for the leads! This thread helped me narrow down my search :)

These are looking perfect! Thank you! I’m thinking i can pretty easily keep one in the hall closer with minimal tipping risk based on the lower/ wider shape:)
