Set up an RODI with an automatic flush valve. When the RODI is running there is a loud hissing noise coming from the flush valve that can be heard through the closet wall where the sytem is installed. BRS (where I got the system) tells me that this happens when there is air coming in with the supply water and this is normal and that there is nothing that can be done.

This is the first I am using an auto flush valve and my prior system from 12 years ago did not make this noise.

Does anyone else experience this?

Have you been able to fix this?

If they are quick connect connections (slide in and lock), I'd pull the tubing out and make sure the tubing looks normal and then push back into the flush valve making sure it goes in all the way. Sometimes this takes a pretty good push.

Agreed. When you feel a "click", you'll know it is firmly in place.

LOL....I never noticed, but now closely looked at my flush valve and realized it has ten...TEN....quick connect connections. So I'll stick with my original thought that at least one of these connections is leaking air! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

OK, looks like this might be an Aquatec autoflush. I'm going to post this video as well to make sure it's installed correctly. Note arrow direction on valve.
