I got a sick picasso clownfish donated to me from my LFS. He doesn't look to well and we're afraid he's not gonna make it so my LFS gave him to me to see if I can save him. Long story on him...

He was doing fine in their tank until a black and white clown decided to beat him up a little. The black and white was removed. He's been kind beat up looking ever since. This is probably about a month and a half ago? He eats good. but his color is faded. The whole side of his body on both sides are faded.

My clownfish book describes it as maybe Brooklynella. The only symptom that doesn't match up is the loss of appetite. I'm told he eats like a pig. I just got him and he's still getting used to my qt tank so he's hiding and I haven't seen him eat anything.

Anybody have any idea on what he might have?

I soak live brine in a garlic freshwater mix for about 1/2 an hour and I've been able to intice a lot of sick fish to eat and get better. Not sure if this will work for you but worth a shot. Good luck
