I see a demand here for gigas. I'm looking for a trade from a smaller one from a mature tank. This electric green is growing out of control. lol

Very nice! How long have you had it?
Coming to 2 weeks. Clown just taken to anemone a week ago. Very sticky tentacles, tried feeding shrimp bits, but got rejected. Gonna leave it alone to bask for now.

New to the gig club!

I love the color! Just keep an eye on the clown and how it's impacting the gig and the acclimation process. Size-wise, it's a bit too big for the gig and if it's too rough, it could actually kill it. I'd expect to see longer tentacles at this point, and I'm wondering if the clown might be jostling it to the point where it's not able to expand its tentacles (meaning it's stressed).

Looks like I have found a blue gig and is coming in next week.
Congrats! Best of luck with it.

If that's a WYSIWYG photo, then I have high hopes, because the smaller ones typically do better than the big ones.

Thank you, yes that's the one is wysiwyg. It took this person quite a while to find one for me. I'm stoked!

Yes, that's my concern too, I was told it's bigger from the LFS, then again it could be once it settled down. Today it's started to taking in a small piece of prawn, which it rejected for the past 2-3 weeks. The tentacles remain short but very sticky, also it packs very strong sting, much stronger than the many Hadonnis' I had before. It's sold to me as a yellow gig, the actual color now to the eye is more of lemon. I just hope its not suffering from expulsion of zoo i.e. bleached.

Photo sent by LFS under normal room light prior purchase.

It should be fine and could color up more to a fluorescent green as it acclimates to your system and care.

So an update, the baby blue gig came in today and is doing well. He's about 2"-3" but his mouth is closed, foot attached, very sticky, and relaxing. I'm going to keep him in qt for a while until he's much bigger. He's a little bleached but that's OK, once he recovers he'll color right up. The photos make him look purple but he's very blue.

@CoralsAnonymous, thank you Nina for finding him for me. He came in good shape and is doing well.

Looks good! Maybe it’s the lighting but does it look more purple?
