That's a dream of mine as well with my mags. I hope you get more gigs in to begin selling again. Your gigs were excellent quality and health.
You have me confused with someone else here on R2R. I've never been a supplier of anemones (well, other than rainbow BTA's locally ;) ), just a hobbyist who's addicted to them.

You're correct, my apologies I did believe you were someone else. But again that's a beautiful gig. How's it doing today?

No worries my friend! I wish I had the connections to consistently get nice gigs/mags. However, I'd be a poor businessman, as I'd wind up keeping them all for myself.......my preciousssssss....:)
This green looked really good last night just before lights out. This morning, lights still off, it had balled up similar to a Mag, still in one piece, still firmly attached, still inflated and no gaping! All good signs this early in.
Pics from last night, about 8 hours into treatment.

That's great signs. I do believe you are ahead of the recovery battle not having to go straight to using meds

I am treating with Cipro and Iodine, just to be sure. My last blue gig looked really good upon arrival, and I didn't treat it. I quarantined for a few days then put it in the display. After a few weeks, it started showing signs of decline so I started quarantine and cipro then. It didn't recover. I still feel guilty about that one. I had waited so long for this one. It was beautiful and my lackadaisical attitude killed it. I won't make that same mistake again with any GIg I purchase.

Sounds like a great approach--I've mentioned this before--but I've never had negative affects from doing a treatment on a gig that simply looked stressed and wasn't struggling (in obvious need of antibiotic treatment).

Yours looks a bit "bald" but as long as it remains inflated, I think it'll be fine. The green one that I picked up last year looked a lot like yours. It was closer to tennis ball yellow and the antibiotic treatment caused it to bleach (as expected) but now it's turned more of a neon green.

Luck be a lady on this next find! These are coming Tuesday. Extra quarantine tanks being prepared today! The green still has 4 more days treatment.
Pics from the seller under white and blue led. Look at those colors under blue! I won't see that until near the end of my light cycle as I run full spectrum most of the cycle, but it will, hopefully, be a nice sight before lights out!
As with the green, fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for successful shipping and treatment!

Question for everyone regarding treatment for the gigs coming tomorrow:
The seller has been prophylacticly treating them for the past 4 days with a lower dose of cipro than OrionN's protocol.
As of this morning, they look really good. Pics attached. Should I still go ahead and quarantine and continue treatment for 3 more days, continue for the full 7 days, or give them a trial in the main display and see how they do?

I would not introduce into display. QT for observation and I would do full 7 days at full strength treatment. I would treat their partial dose for 4 days as negligible.

I would tend to treat it for a full treatment too. Partially treat anemone will not do well at all if relapse.

That's awesome Sean! They seem to be in pretty good shape. I think after a full round of cipro you'll be good to go.

The little guys were added to the display last night. Video is of them at the time of addition. I left them on the mugs just in case I need to remove them quickly should a concern arise. I'll give them a few days/week then remove them from the mug and place them where I hope they will be happy.
