Sorry to hear. A damaged foot on a gig is usually a death sentence, unfortunately.Yeah I think mine has finally given up as well. I tried for over a month but his foot is damaged and he's getting worse by the day
Very healthy indeed.Wow, that's gorgeous!
Drooling over here!!! So nice!More photos of the Blue Gig taken by LFS, it comes with a blue foot too.
Yes, spots on the underside with a blue foot!I see a stressed anemone. Were you able to confirm that it's a gig?

Is that under white light? What color is the true color?More photos of the Blue Gig taken by LFS, it comes with a blue foot too.
It’s cobalt blue under white light… under blue light you can’t see any color at all. Currently it’s sitting in around 250 PAR, and it deflates, and inflates when the lights are dimmer…makes me wonder if it’s collected from deeper water. Is that under white light? What color is the true color?
It is really hard to tell what color this anemone actually is.
Thanks! I wouldn't say I'm getting back in the gig business as I never really left. The problem has been finding healthy ones that I could afford. I've been on the look out for nice giganteas for years. Like many of us that are addicted to these creatures, my goal is to find one of each color, eventually!Beautiful. I hope it recovers well. Are you getting back into the gig business? Where did you find it?
