Hi all!

I got a couple of frags and dipped them. So what came off? Two asterina stars, a bristle worm baby and a couple of red flatworms ( I think). I dipped them in Coral RX. My tank is pretty new (7 months). And although I know there are people who don’t mind bristle worms and asterinas, I don’t want them in my tank if I can avoid it. Now I am paranoid to put these frags in the tank. They are currently in a little isolation box hanging inside to keep the temp. Would you dip them again? Should I go buy some bayer? Yikes! TIA

It’s a hammer and a goni. Plus a zoa. I’m not sure exactly which ones what came off of because I put them all together to dip.

Too late because I already put them in an hour ago. I was worried about the corals. Newbie/dumb mistake? I can take them out and redip?

I don’t see why not, honestly. Hopefully the time they’ve spent in your DT wasn’t long enough for any of the undesirables to hop off, but only time will tell.

It could be worse! They could be nasties instead of neutral/goodies!

I’m headed off to Home Depot to get some Bayer!

Thank you so much! I found it and dipped them. Nothing came off so I guess it was overkill. I really am so appreciative of the quick response from you this morning in my moment of panic!
Absolutely! So glad it all turned out. Don’t forget to monitor closely just in case!

Best of luck to you!
