I got this guy with a little hair and a featherduster that looked really cute when I got it. Like a nice 'do with a flower in it.

Now the hair has gotten too long for the feather duster, and I meed to groom.

What I meed to know is, is it okay to keep the GHA on the snail? Or should I take it all off. Also, i really like the feather duster on him, and would like to avoid removing it.

Any thoughts? Is keeping this stuff on him any sort of cruelly?

The GHA will spread.

I'd give the snail a good scrub with a toothbrush to get him clean, then with your finger protecting the snail in his shell, dip the toothbrush into some diluted H2O2 solution and give the shell a brush with that before rinsing him with tankwater and putting him back in the tank.

Get him a Convict Tang as a companion. I never seen such hard working tang. That is if your tank is large enough. It is cruel to keep tangs in small tank. Also this set you up to be arrest by the tang police.
