I did an Oceamo ICP-ms and seem to be deficient in some minor elements that seem to be beneficial to dose according to Randy here. https://www.reef2reef.com/ams/randys-elements-to-dose.952/

I have a small bubblegum digi frag, 2 hammer corals(about 7 total heads), a mushroom, and a bta.

I am only dosing sodium carbonate right now, but do have some all-for-reef on hand What is the best way to increase the elements that are deficient? Should I buy the individual elements and dose accordingly, or should I start dosing all-for-reef(it contains barium and my barium is elevated)? Would something else work better?

I do not know if you need to add trace elements or not, but experimenting with Tropic Marin A and K might be a fine plan. If nothing changes, then I'd use it up then see if anything changes again on stopping.

AFR is also an option, but if the demand for alk is low, the added trace elements will be low, which is not an issue using the trace elements only.

Ok, that probably a lot better idea than buying a bunch of individual elements. Thanks.

You don't have that demanding of a system it seems. What salt mix are you using? Does your tank seem unhappy? Or not stable? It seems that your salt mix may have something to do with those low trace elements.

If your tank is happy, I'd leave it alone and NOT dose.

Also, currently dosing about 10ml of Randy’s recipe with sodium carbonate. (Can never remember if it’s recipe 1 or 2).
