I'm using a seachem tidal 35 on my 10 gallon reef. Is there anything I can add or make better for this HOB for better outcome. Thanks for any advice. I'm used to using canister pumps so HOB is kinda new to me.

I bought better filter material to cut and place into the back.
Thats about it so far. I dont run carbon unless theres a reason to...newly fragged corals, smell....etc....

Heres the filter material i used.
