My elephant slug this morning was clinging to my tiger conch, and i Pryed him off gently to place him back on the rocks, he’s been moving very slowly for a couple days now, but I just saw him barely clinging to the conch again upside down. Picked him up and he Didn’t respond so I put him on the rock again and hes Been motionless for 2 minutes and releasing His shell. Kinda sad if he truly is gone because he was a day 1 from my old tank that crashed (him and a Sexy shrimp were the only survivors) and ive Had him as a hitchhiker since I put my live rock in to cycle my first tank. Thoughts on if he’s gone or not? Please let me know this one really hurts

It can very well be. Assure nitrates and phosphates are not elevated and salinity has not dropped. Starvation can also be a contributor
