My elephant slug this morning was clinging to my tiger conch, and i Pryed him off gently to place him back on the rocks, he’s been moving very slowly for a couple days now, but I just saw him barely clinging to the conch again upside down. Picked him up and he Didn’t respond so I put him on the rock again and hes Been motionless for 2 minutes and releasing His shell. Kinda sad if he truly is gone because he was a day 1 from my old tank that crashed (him and a Sexy shrimp were the only survivors) and ive Had him as a hitchhiker since I put my live rock in to cycle my first tank. Thoughts on if he’s gone or not? Please let me know this one really hurts :(

It can very well be. Assure nitrates and phosphates are not elevated and salinity has not dropped. Starvation can also be a contributor
