Gary Jones MSc, holds a Masters degree in biology with emphasis in aquatics from East Stroudsburg University and degrees in Business and Marketing from Shippensburg University. He is an aquatic scientist specializing in the ornamental aquarium and pond trade for over 35 years. Gary has taught Aquaculture, Aquatic Research, Aquatic Animal Science and Biology courses at various universities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia. Previously he owned his own international company specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of aquariums and aquatic environments for public aquariums, museums and universities for over 15 years. Currently Gary works for Mars Fishcare (manufacturers of API products) as an educator and aquatic expert. Gary is proficient regarding all aspects of aquariums and water gardening, including installation, filtration, and maintenance of habitats as well as nutrition, fish health and water quality.
Gary Jones is the Manager of Industry Relations for Mars Fishcare located in Chalfont, Pennsylvania. He also devotes time to educating retailers, fish wholesalers and hobbyists to achieve a better understanding of fish health as well as assisting them in developing store use fish maintenance programs and quarantine programs. #apiaquaspin #aquariumwatertesting
