Already, I'm feeling pretty dumb right now but in my defense there are no assembly instructions haha. When putting the skimmer body on to the pump, it's not sitting flat because a piece of the 'nozzle' won't let the skimmer slide all the way down. Am I doing something wrong or is this a design flaw? I'd call support but I received this after business hours. :(

That's a really good idea. Sucks I have to mod this straight out of the box in order for it to work though. Sigh...

Hey man, you saved 150$ at least buying this model. And this skimmer is a work horse!

Let it run for a few hours at full blast, overflowing back into the sump. It'll be broke in soon! I ran it on a 55, 40b, and 60 cube. After I sold it the buyer is in love with it as well .
