I think the new rule will stop some people from participating in our sales which is ok becouse we can't pay to send corals out lol and that I'd what we r trying to avoid

We are only talking to the people who r getting like 11 corals and barley spending money and then winning free shipping on top of it.

Next sale this won't happen with the new rules in place. Foe 99% of people this new rule won't hurt you we are just trying to weed out the ones who take advance of the current system and currrnt rules which Is why we are revamping them

Maybe this will change things a bit, spread the love. Most of use share pretty well, I've seen 1s, 5s, and 6s sit and someone being tagged to snag the coral because it was one they wanted. Some people are a bit greedy though.

Dang, I was hoping that wouldn't happen. Was always hoping everyone that did get a sixer or such, just realized they should also get a few others. You all can't just rob @SBB Corals like that, that's how we lose 1/5/6ers all together! At least pay for shipping if you only get sixers lol.

I hate to be the one to suggest it, but maybe have a limit for sixers, albeit a bit higher than for 1/5. Sorry for bringing this unpleasant thought to the table.

If yall are willing to throw away all the time and effort of all the corals ypu have put in your tank...then it is what it is. KCL is fine because it doesn't stress the coral and remember all it takes is 1....1 pest could then multiply and wipe out your pride and joy. With every pest free coral you have your odds keep going down from batting 1000...and all ypou need is one in some cases. As much time and money I put in...not worth the risk.

I don’t worry about it much, I got 13 nice coral frags for $1040, that’s pretty dang good. I got some 5$ mainly because people were holding off for something more spectacular I guess. I’m not particularly fast to check out, I rarely participate in live sales.

I was pretty shocked to see how much some folks were getting for so little dollars spent.

I think it’s a little tricky because if it gets too confusing it may turn some people off of joining the sale. I think it’s already a bit confusing.

I wouldn’t mind something like no GC on shipping at all and then just do a maximum 3 $5 coral rule. Get rid of the 1s and 6s.

Maybe get rid of the $25 per $5 coral rule. That would mean at the very worst someone is spending $45 shipping plus $15 coral for their shipment.

If you’re still worried about people doing that too much you could add a flat $50 order minimum or something.

I don’t know, just brainstorming. It’s already a little confusing explaining the rules for most SBB newbies, would hate to see it get more confusing.
