Do you think there’s something funny about taking your stick and dipping it in something wet? I’m over here trying to ask serious questions about how to get rid of all of the pests that may or may not inhabit my crusty sticks mound and you’re over there making jokes.

So... um... am I gonna need to rent a forklift for this one, Shane?

In all honesty free shipping should be for orders only over $400 without being able to use a gc for it unless ypu win a specific game that's a free shipping gc. Reason being is because corals have a profit margin and an inventory that grows (provided it stays alive). Shipping cost is shipping cost to the vendor with only loss but no profit. I for one, and surely most others feel the same, would not mind a change in that a bit. Again, I would think, most everyone would agree that we want to see SBB grow and would like to help facilitate that. This won't lose you any custies..none that matter business wise at least. Anyhoo...my 2

Exactly what I was about to say. No GCs on shipping seems like a perfectly reasonable thing.

I use an IM helio and feel pretty good about temp controller, have AI pumps with the app and kamoer dosing pump allows me to edit from anywhere. I do think that getting a notification if temp got out of range would be beneficial if something failed but I just can’t justify the price of admission for the 1 or 2 features I would use. (Temp and ph monitoring).

I was looking at a used kit somewhere and some guy told me that they are about to release something like an “Aqua IQ” that would do automatic water testing similar to the trident. I searched a bit and didn’t really find anything so I don’t know where he got that info. I suppose if that was available and was quite a bit cheaper than the trident, I might consider getting a setup.
How do you like the helio? I was about to get one but then read about a bunch of people having them fail (might just be a bad batch or something).

With regards to "controllers" what you get is less important as long as it can grow with you and your tank. You have at least 2 grand worth of coral in your tank. it makes sense to spend 1/8-1/4 of that protecting it somehow.

I will say this, if you get a controller, I promise that you will end up using more than you think you will. A few common examples are ato level monitoring/notifications and feeding programs.

Can believe people and their decency. Last sale was coupon code theif and now we are losing the 6 dollar option. Hope you bring in 7 and 8 dollars now, or even 10 to make it more even for us both.

Fine with me. $45 is a steal even if you don't hit 500.
