On my bucket list to try. Dunno if it is worth the hype, most crazy priced alcohol is just the stigma/rarity vs actually being good.

Put it this way..I've had some super nice and pricey bourbans, whiskeys, sakis..blah blah. Gimme a jim beam and a splash of coke..the splash completes the beam and its just as good as anything I've ever had. Now straight is a different story and on the rocks is a waste

Same and I agree. I think there are cheaper brands that taste better from what I have read

Journeyman is a good whisky that's cheap..relatively. I think it's like 60 a bottle..but it's been a minute
