White light makes most those Tenuis look way more dull than the blues.

I buy all 8 of my T5 bulbs every black Friday. I was just thinking last night...NEXT black Friday I may finally take the plunge and go primarily LED.

Thats what I do too. Ramp up, whites in the middle and ramp down..both the ramps are very blue.

Drop reds to like 5 percent. Not needed and believed to contribute to algae. It's not needed since it is included in the white spectrum.

What size tank again? General rule is whites at 25% of blues. I run 80% on blue, light blue, violet and 20% on whites with red and green at 5%. If that is too high for a LPS dominant tank, then just scale down from there. 60% on blues, 15% on white. I run a 12 hour period with 2 hour ramp on both sides and 8 hour peak.
